When we remove your sinus congestion using our lymphatic drainage therapy. We will first focus on the lymph nodes around your neck and lower neckline gently moving up towards your jawline, nose, and forehead. Your muscles will first be pre-warmed and stimulated to open and enhance lymphatic flow along with your circulation. Stagnated fluid in your sinuses can lead to inflammation and irritation of them which can lead to sinus congestion and puffy eyes. We will use light cupping, sinus tapping and other lymphatic drainage techniques to restore your regular lymphatic flow.
What Causes Sinus Congestion
Sinus congestions are often caused by allergies. Allergies to mold, spores, pollen and other foreign particles sometimes result in what we call Hay fever. This results in the inflammation and irritation of your sinuses. Through our specialized lymphatic drainage massage techniques, we can relieve these allergy symptoms. Once we release the stagnant lymphatic fluid, your body will then kick into healing mode, and start repairing your congested sinuses. This will promote faster healing, and thus your congestion will go away. Once your sinuses are no longer blocked, you will have less of a chance of getting sinusitis. Even if you have chronic sinus infections, by catching your sinus congestions early and treating them, you will have less of a chance of getting an infection.
